About Us

Hello, this is Catherine speaking, the creator of Hack Orlando. I loved meeting other people who are interested in coding, but I didn't love online meetings. Many of the hackathons and other programs I've been in have been completely online. Why didn't I go to ones in-person? Well, there were only two nearby and neither were for teens. In fact, if you were under 18 you couldn't even go. So, I created this hackathon to allow high schoolers in Greater Orlando to meet and share their love of coding. Of course, even if you live outside of this area you can still join. There will be food, speakers, and games. Come out and have fun!

The event will take place on October 8th at the Orlando Public Library. We will be in the Albertson room from 12pm-5pm.
